I joined Clifford Chance in 2012 as a trainee in the former Banking & Finance department. I remember that I was impressed from the very first day, not only by the complexity of the cases and the challenges they represented, but also (and most importantly) by the great atmosphere at the firm. At the end of 2012 I moved to the L&DR department (Barcelona office), where I am currently working.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of cases and have ended up specialising in data protection and commercial litigation.

What I would like to highlight most about my work is the variety of cases that I deal with. Every day presents a different challenge, so getting bored is not an option. Looking back I also realise that working at Clifford Chance has not only contributed to improving purely legal capabilities, but it has also helped develop other types of skills, such as commercial and communication skills or the ability to build relationships with different people.

This leads me to the final point: people. It may sound like a cliché, but throughout my time at Clifford Chance and being in different departments and offices, I have never experienced a negative atmosphere, quite the opposite. In my opinion, this is one of the key differentiating factors and something that sets Clifford Chance apart from the rest.
