I am a tax lawyer in Clifford Chance's Madrid office. Our practice covers a wide range of matters, from assisting other teams in their transactions and financings, to advising on the setting up of funds and tax litigation. Given the heterogeneity of our work, we are not only expected to have the highest level of legal and accounting expertise, but also a deep understanding of our colleagues' work and the business rationale behind our clients' transactions.

What I like most about our work is that we really feel that we make transactions possible while keeping our clients safe from risks that could otherwise ruin the return on their investments. Thus, practising tax law is a big responsibility that could not be carried out successfully without the support of a group of lawyers like those at Clifford Chance who, thanks to their in-depth technical knowledge, are able to get straight to the root of the problems that concern our clients to find the safest and most up-to-date solutions possible.
