London Graduates

Find out more about who we are through our conferences

This year we're excited to host four in-person conferences in our London office, each designed with a particular audience in mind.

We've partnered with a variety of organisations, speakers, and internal Clifford Chance teams to help you learn more about life at Clifford Chance ahead of applying to either SPARK or our Training Contract.

We recognise there's only so much you can find out about the realities of the work and role from a website.

We've specially curated our conferences to give you a more in depth and well-rounded insight into our firm. Each conference explores a different aspect of our business from the varied perspectives of people across the firm and beyond.

We encourage you to take a look and make the most of these invaluable sessions in preparation for any applications you are planning to make to the firm.

Our conferences are key pipeline events for our Training Contract and SPARK, so if you are offered a place to join us for the day you are definitely on the right track! With this in mind we require you to complete and pass the Watson Glaser test as part of your conference application.

You'll only be able to take the test once this recruitment cycle so we recommend you take the necessary time to practice as this may impact your SPARK or Training Contract application. If you pass the test you will not need to complete it again this recruitment cycle.

The content of our conferences has been carefully constructed to offer unique insights into our work and culture at Clifford Chance and we look forward to sharing this with you.

Black in Law

There is no doubt that it is the richness of our diversity that drives our success and makes us who we are as a global firm. For this to continue, it's important that we understand what success looks like for our lawyers and how we continue to build an inclusive environment that allows people to progress.

We're proud to launch Black in Law, a new one-day conference for students and graduates of Black Heritage who are interested in a career in law and are keen to hear from directly from Black leaders.

In addition to skills sessions and interactive workshops designed to support you in our wider recruitment process, we will discuss the lived experiences of Black trainees and lawyers at Clifford Chance and provide insights on navigating the workplace and succeeding within the industry.

There'll also be discussion on how technology is changing the law.

As well as learning more about what you can expect from your legal career at Clifford Chance, ADAPT presents an excellent opportunity to learn more about the firm's Tech Group - an integrated, multidisciplinary team of over 600 tech-savvy lawyers located around the world delivering holistic, joined up, expert legal advice to both tech and non-tech clients on their most exciting, complex, and transformational tech-related matters.
