We're expanding our global Energy & Infrastructure practice with a new office in Houston, Texas. Bringing in-depth knowledge of the US domestic energy & infrastructure market, this new location will provide significant on-the-ground support to our US and international clients.

On the Horizon: Our New NYC Office

We're delighted to announce that our team in New York will land in our new home at 2 Manhattan West in early 2024. We are working with our colleagues and architects at Gensler to bring our future workspace to life! We'll enjoy 360 degree views of Manhattan above the vibrant Manhattan West District – all close to transit, the New York Highline and all of the wonderful gifts Hudson Yards District has to offer.

New York Office Lounge

After eight months of planning, the Lounge was inaugurated with a "grand opening" in late January 2020 to mark the important event. Recognizing that each of us has busy work days and a hectic schedule, the lounge was conceived as an open space where colleagues can unwind, reset and refresh. The lounge has quickly become an office favorite with most of the team visiting throughout the day to catch up with colleagues, for team meetings, and for a bit of solo time to work away from their desks. For Capital Markets partner Jeff LeMaster and Head of Legal Recruiting Sarah Posner who worked together on the design, their goal was to ensure that the space was created with everyone's preferences in mind.

"We wanted to make it comfortable and cozy, with plush lounge chairs, couches, high top seating and privacy pods as well as a state-of-the-art coffee machine and rotating variety of snacks. One of the key aspirations behind the creation of the lounge was to foster a sense of community at the office, where associates and business professionals can interact in a different environment," said Jeff. 

The Lounge provides the perfect landing zone for a coffee or snack, a catch up on news, or debrief with other members of the team.

Newly Renovated Washington, DC Office

In November 2019, our Washington, DC team moved into a brand new office space, complete with access to a modern cafe, rooftop terrace, and fitness center. Our colleagues enjoy glass walls, standing desks, and conference and team rooms are equipped with state of the art features including strategically placed whiteboards for collaboration and integrated, flexible technology for virtual conferencing. 

 The design changes reflect the way in which we work as a team, by creating both open and concealed spaces for meeting and socializing," says L&DR partner, Michelle Williams. Above all, the most unique feature of the new space is found the moment you enter reception: a digital wall streaming live scenes from our other offices across the globe. This reflects how we come together and work as one global firm, irrespective of location.


"Our offices are designed to create a fresh and inviting environment for our clients and our team. Through collaboration hubs and common meeting areas we have lots of places to work together (or get together for a coffee break). We are currently working on designing additional space (with added state of the art technology) which we hope to unveil in the year ahead!"
