Back to profiles

I joined Clifford Chance almost two years ago and I can say that it has been an eye-opening experience. When you join a world-renowned law firm like Clifford Chance, you already have high expectations about the kind of work you are going to have, the kind of deals, the kind of people and, in general, the kind of firm you are joining. For me, Clifford Chance (and particularly, the Madrid office) has exceeded all those expectations.

With less than two years in the M&A department, I have had the opportunity to be closely involved in some of the biggest deals in the market advising top-tier clients. I have been able to see the private equity practice up close and get a real-life look at the exciting challenge of advising reputable and competitive private equity houses.

It is true that it is very tough and demanding, even more than I thought it would be, but at the same time it is very fulfilling. The partners and senior lawyers in the M&A department are heavily committed to the firm and to the work they do. They take every piece of paper very seriously and really motivate you and inspire you to always work to the highest standards.

That is precisely what I find most rewarding about working in Clifford Chance: the high standard of the work we do and the service we provide. You really get to understand what is behind the Clifford Chance label.
