    Do you have to go to a certain type of university to be a lawyer? Do you have to be a certain type of person to go to one of those universities? Victor Taiwo, one of our future trainees, and Saif Jalali, now a current trainee, share their responses to these questions. Victor’s news of rejection from his first-choice university has led to opportunities he never knew existed, and Saif has overcome personal tragedy and circumstances to dedicate himself to securing his future. Both have learned the importance of valuing the person over the institution, and of believing in yourself. (2021)
