Clifford Chance

I started my career at Clifford Chance in July 2019 as a legal intern in the Corporate Department and in October I became a trainee lawyer. Before joining Clifford Chance I studied Law at the University of Pisa, spending my fourth year as an Erasmus student in the UK. After graduating, I worked briefly in the legal department of a company in Helsinki before joining Clifford Chance.

I really appreciate that I was given responsibility immediately and followed transactions from the beginning to the end working with more senior lawyers. I understood the importance of teamwork and that everyone's contribution is an important piece of the puzzle.

The work

I never get bored thanks to the continuous and varied stimulation that I constantly receive. Every day is a new challenge that requires analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the need to develop commercial skills rapidly. Working in the Corporate Department, I have the opportunity to build my industry knowledge of the main Italian and international economic actors.

The people

What struck me the most about the people when I joined is the great professionalism, helpfulness and kindness of all my colleagues, regardless of seniority. There is a very cooperative atmosphere and we all work together to achieve common goals. I am proud to work somewhere that I feel a great sense of belonging.
