What you can expect

Our transactional Capital Markets Team advises industrial companies, private equity as well as other investors and financial institutions on capital market transactions, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate law questions on a cross-location and international basis.

The Munich office is closely linked to our offices in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. As an associate in the Capital Markets department you can expect exciting tasks and a high level of responsibility from day one.

  • Your work will focus on IPOs, subscription rights offerings, SPACs, de-SPACs, private placements, high yield and investment grade and hybrid bonds as well as M&A transaction (public and private).
  • You will be part of an international team, integrated across different practice groups such as our corporate and private equity groups.
  • Due to the international focus of our work, you will advise across Europe and the EMEA region.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and highly experienced team and will take responsibility on transactions from day one.

What characterizes you

You have already gained some experience in one of the above-mentioned areas or you are a junior professional German lawyer without any previous experience looking for a new challenge.

In addition to an excellent degree, you preferably also have an LL.M. degree from a US law school and a US bar qualification (for instance NY). Excellent English skills, an overall economic understanding as well as a strong academic background round off your qualifications. You are a team player and apply your creativity in addition to your professional know-how to challenging tasks.

Interns, Research Assistants and Referendare, who are interested in capital markets and corporate work, are also encouraged to apply.
